The US' CommScope has formed Multi-Tenant Data Centre (MTDC) Alliance as part of its PartnerPRO™ Network, the latter which is active in 88 countries and serves as a resource with thousands of distributors, installers, integrators and consultants worldwide.

Italy's Prysmian has revealed that it is the supplier for Superloop's fibre optic cable - the TKO Express - which was featured in a recent item on Wire and Cable News. The cable producer has detailed the process of making and delivering the world record breaking cable, which included air-freighting a 15-tonne cable drum.

CommScope's Q4 and FY 2016 results were catapulted into the black from a net loss of $75 million and $71 million, to a net income of $54 million and $223 million, respectively. Operating income increased from $182 million in FY 2015 to $572 million for FY 2016, primarily due to the BNS acquisition.
